It's a Strange Life I Lead

Comedy or Irony or my Music as much as possible. Should be quite good. But I would say that, woudn't I?

is stupid, and not to be taken seriously.

“Why?” You might ask, “should I disrespect such an upstanding organization?”

And I would reply, “because they are petty and laughable.”

And here’s why:
There is a famous historical fish market in Seattle. One of the major attractions to this fish market to the locals and the tourists(the only thing that might get a tourist to a fish market) is that the fish are constantly being tossed about. Like flung between vendors and boats and people. They throw the fish. Its been this way forever, and it sounds fantastic.
Now, our friends at PETA decided that this practice is “disrespectful to the fish.” Holy Mother of God. Really? Really, really?! The fish are dead. They’re being sold so that they can be disemboweled, cut up, possibly cooked and then EATEN. But the tossing is the disrespectful part. Why not go ahead and outlaw fishing. Its fairly disrespectful to interrupt a fish’s day by tricking him into biting a huge fuck-off hook. But, of course, it is the fact that a few men, who by the way spend most of their lives surrounded by fish and make a living off fish, are not being respectful. By throwing them. Needless to say, I am filled with an overwhelming need to pledge my life and my services to such an upstanding, logical, and intelligent group that would think of this. Right.
